CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Kendra is responsible for all high-level management including setting and communicating the company’s strategic direction, balancing resources, ensuring the company’s values are applied from top to bottom, making decisions related to human resources, legal, and financial matters, and overseeing and delivering the company’s performance.
David M. Newman, PE, CEM, LEED-AP, CEA
VICE PRESIDENT, ENGINEERING
With more than 20 years of diverse experience on the Energia Team, David is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to the sales, project development and engineering teams as well as Energia’s customers. His professional experience at Energia has spanned every aspect of Energy Performance Projects, from the very beginning of project development, creation of the final project, engineering design & permitting, construction and measurement and verification.
Rob Sullivent, PE, CEM, CMVP, CBCP, CDSM
VICE PRESIDENT OF CLIENT SOLUTIONS
Rob is responsible for overseeing the management and execution for all Energia energy performance contracts and capital projects from project development through delivery. He has more than 35 years of experience in engineering design, facilities operations, and energy efficiency with an emphasis on public sector (K-12, state, city, county, healthcare and federal) clients.
Veronica Niter
Vice President of Business Development
Veronica is responsible for identifying strategic opportunities, forging key partnerships, and driving revenue growth through new business initiatives. She is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience developing and implementing tailored solutions within the K-16 market
Matthew Kazubowski, RA, AIA, NCARB, LEED-GA
VICE PRESIDENT OF ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
Matthew leads the architectural design process for Energia’s Energy Performance projects. With more than 25 years of experience in energy-efficient architectural design, including large scale solar PV, Matthew has an unparalleled portfolio of school related projects.
Harold Friedman
SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Harold is responsible for overseeing the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) designs of Energia’s projects and serves as a primary client representative during the entire design phase and construction process. He has more than 30 years of experience with all aspects of the MEP engineering discipline as well as field investigation.
Renee Fassano
Business Development Manager
As Business Development Manager for Energia, Renee is responsible for managing client relationships and business development. She is very active in local conferences and events, focusing her efforts on educating school district leadership on the impact energy-efficient facilities have in creating world-class learning environments.
Brandon Tunnell, M.Ed
Business Development Manager
Brandon’s role involves supporting district leaders in advocating for equitable resources and implementing innovative solutions for facilities and learning environments. His experience as a former school administrator aligns well with school districts aiming to enhance their learning environments.
Jackie Mushorn
Project Administrator
Jackie provides turnkey administrative support for the Engineering Design and Construction Teams. She is responsible for the preparation, processing and submission of all New York State K-12 projects to the NY State Education Department (NYSED), including all required NYSED paperwork and filings throughout the entire project design and construction process.
